The Skin GP Sydney brings you no nonsense skin advice from Skin GPs who live and breathe skin health.
We offer rash diagnosis, skin cancer checks, acne management, childhood rash advice, eczema and psoriasis care, menopause skin changes, aesthetic medicine planning, sun damage regeneration, melasma management, pigmentation prevention, infection advice, skincare recommendations and more.
We offer in person consultations in our clinic in metropolitan Sydney. We also offer video consultations for rural and regional patients across Australia.

Full in person skin cancer assessment including photography of suspicious lesions or those needing monitoring.

This appointment covers skin health, skin condition diagnosis and management recommendations. E.g. for acne, eczema, psoriasis, infectious rashes, menopause skin changes, PCOS skin changes, hidradenitis suppurativa

This consult gives you the opportunity to discuss skin ageing and aesthetic concerns. Bespoke, subtle care with no chain clinics involved.

Includes diagnosis and management discussion about medical and aesthetic treatments that may be appropriate.

Skin changes are a common issue encountered in perimenopause and menopause. We use our GP skills to not only help with hot flushes, redness, dry skin, and changes ‘down there’, but also advise on hormonal replacement therapies (and non hormonal therapies too) that can alleviate symptoms. Gynaederm, encompassing vulval conditions, is another condition we can assist with.

Minor surgical skin procedure to obtain tissue sample for histopathology for diagnostic purposes.

Minor surgical procedure in clinic only to remove skin cancers or other skin pathology. Requires prior consultation (skin check) for treatment planning.

Removal of benign skin lesions like skin tags, moles (non cancerous), sebaceous hyperplasia, sun spots and more. Skin check required prior to this procedure to ensure only benign lesions are treated with this modality.

Please note from May 2025 we are only accepting new patients for GP with special interest (skin) care.
In person consultations are eligible for Medicare rebates based on time and type of service.
Telehealth consults are privately billed, with a Medicare rebate available if you have been seen in our physical clinic within 12 months.

When it comes to management, we don’t just flick you a script and send you on your way. We educate, we explain, support and guide you through to good skin health.
No interns here: Our Skin GPs have a special interest in skin, meaning that this is the area of general practice they choose to focus on day in, day out.
How do we do this?
Upon booking, we ask you to fill in a user friendly pre-consultation form so we can identify your key issues without wasting your valuable time in consult.
We use this information to pinpoint our questions during your appointment to we use every minute wisely.
For digital consultations, we ask for photos from your standard device like a smart phone to consolidate our consultation findings, to ensure we get the right diagnosis, with management to follow.
A clear and concise management plan is included with every initial consultation.
Assessment
Your Skin GP with assess your skin health by undertaking a consultation, in person or via video.
Diagnosis
Getting the right diagnosis is key, and this is what we strive for. This may involve further tests to cinch the diagnosis.
Management
Your Skin GP uses their training and real world experience to manage your skin problem, asap.
Review
Followup is key to treatment success. We recommend checking in at the 4 week and 4 month mark to ensure you’re on the right track.

The Skin GP Sydney was founded by Dr Samantha Saling, a Skin GP in Sydney, Australia, passionate about skin health.
She is passionate about bringing together GPs who have a special interest in skin, and have gone above and beyond the norm to strut their skinterests.
Skin GP Affiliated Clinics
We know that skin medicine is a sensory field, and sometimes, digital reviews need a human followup.
We have affiliated clinics in Sydney, with partnering clinics coming soon to metro, regional, and rural locations across Australia.
